AKISAN Website Privacy Policy

The following explains the privacy policy of AKISAN. Please read this thoroughly in order to ensure that you understand the circumstances under which AKISAN collects data regarding users of the AKISAN Web Site and under which AKISAN may release such information to third parties.

AKISAN (hereinafter "AKISAN", "We", "Us". or "Our") has created this Web Site Privacy Policy (hereinafter the "Privacy Policy") in order to inform you (hereinafter "You", "Your", or "Yourself") as a user of the Web Site (hereinafter the "Site") of the circumstances under which We collect information and data from You.    1. Traffic Data Collected. AKISAN automatically gathers general statistical information about visitors to the Site. Personal Information may include: (i) contact data such as Your name, mailing address, e-mail address and telephone number ("Contact Data"); and (ii) demographic data such as Your zip code ("Demographic Data"). If You communicate with Us by e-mail, post messages to any of Our chat groups, web blogs, twitter sites, RSS, bulletin boards or forums, or otherwise complete online forms, or surveys, any information provided in such communication may be collected as Personal Information.
2. Use of Information Collected
   AKISAN uses Traffic Data to improve Our outreach and promotional efforts, to analyze Site usage, to improve Our content and product and service offerings and to customize Our site's content, layout, and services. We may also use Traffic Data to help diagnose problems with Our server, to manage Our Website and to enhance Our site based on the usage pattern data We receive. AKISAN may use Contact Data to send You information about AKISAN, its meetings, products and services, or promotional material. We may also ask You to provide Us voluntarily with additional information regarding Your personal or business interests, experience or requests which We may use to customize Our services for You. AKISAN may use the Contact Information to contact You when necessary or to advise you regarding upcoming meetings, opportunities, service offerings and communications relevant to Your use of the Site. 3. Disclosure of Information To Third Parties
   AKISAN does NOT disclose Traffic Data to third parties.
4. User Choice Regarding Collection, Use and Distribution of Personal Information
   You may choose not to provide Us with any Personal Information. In such an event, You can still access and use much of the Site; however, You will not be able to access and use those portions of the Site that require Your Personal Information.
5. Confidentiality and Security of Personal Information
   Except as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, AKISAN will keep Your Personal Information private and will not share it with third parties, unless such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with a court order or other legal process; (b) protect Our rights or property; or (c) enforce Our Terms of Service. Your Personal Information is stored on secure servers that are not accessible by third parties.
   
   Whenever You voluntarily disclose personal information online, for example on message boards, through e-mail or in chat areas, that information can be collected and used by others. No data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. As a result, while We try to protect Your personal information, We cannot ensure or guarantee the security of any information You transmit to Us, and You do so at Your own risk.
6. Data Collection From Children
   AKISAN does not knowingly collect any information from children.
7. Other Limits to Your Privacy
   The Site contains links to other web sites. AKISAN is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such web sites. AKISAN may also make chat rooms, forums, message boards, and news groups available to You. Please understand that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information. AKISAN has no control over its use and You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose Your Personal Information.
8. Updates and Changes to Privacy Policy
   AKISAN reserves the right, at any time and without notice, to add to, change, update or modify this Privacy Policy, simply by posting such change, update or modification on the Site. Any such change, update or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site.
