
Mr. Buffer Eyo, a Pharmacist and a Philanthropist served as Financial Secretary and President of Miami Chapter. He also served as President of Federal Council of Nigeria, South Florida, an umbrella organization of all Nigerian Associations. He served as a Member of Board of Trustees culminating in becoming the Treasurer of the Board prior to being elected the National President. He has carried out several Medical Missions to Nigeria. Along with his friends and compatriots, he has built and donated Classroom Blocks to Annang People's Secondary School, Nto Obo/Eka Uruk Eshiet.

Mr. Ita Ntekim, Executive Vice-President, Project Management Professional, worked for the City of Miami as a Geographic Information Services Coordinator. Mr. Ntekim was the President of Miami Chapter. He is involved with many Development Organizations and an avid
soccer enthusiast.

Mrs. Philomena Ekwere, National Treasurer who is married with eight children graduated with a degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. She is working in a Rehabilitation Facility. Mrs. Ekwere held several positions in Miami Chapter: Matron, Vice-President, Financial Secretary and Treasurer.

Dr. Sonny D. Abia, PE, National Public Relations Officer; Dr. Abia obtained his BSCE and MSCE from Florida International University and a PhD in Civil Engineering from University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida where he specialized in the application of reliability analysis to highway design problems. He is also a trained builder and quantity surveyor from Yaba College of Technology, Yaba, Lagos. Dr. Abia had worked with Florida Department of Transportation for nearly 20 years, he rose through the ranks from Design Engineer to Consultant and Project Manager. He had designed and managed numerous civil engineering facilities including but not limited to highways, bridges (including bascule bridges), and residential structures. Dr. Abia is now the president of The Masters, LLC, an engineering and Oil Services corporation he co-founded. He has been a member of AKISAN since 1988. At AKISAN he has served in various committees and was the chairman of Operation Hope that successfully delivered computers to Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic in Ikot Asurua. He served as the Chairman of Education and Project Committee for AKISAN-Miami Chapter. He has a passion for Soccer and reading.

Dr. (Miss) Uduakobong Nsidibe Ikpe graduated with a Law degree from the University of Miami and a PhD in Forensic Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale. Florida. Her interest in Akwa Ibom started at an early age when she was elected at fourteen as a Vice-President of the Youth Association. She organized numerous fundraising for the youths and organized outings for them when National Convention was held at Miami. She has volunteered in many organizations before, during and after her Bachelor's degree from John Hopkins University.
