AKISAN USA Invited to a “Mind Rubbing Lunch” in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, to Discuss Collaboration

On Wednesday, September 22, 2021, AKISAN USA was invited by The Uyo Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (UYOCCIMA) for a “Mind Rubbing”Lunch where discussions were held, relative to possible collaboration on creating awareness and tapping into the rich natural resources available in Akwa Ibom State.

UYOCCIMA also intends to bridge the gap of information by providing a diaspora desk in the chamber for investment enquires. To that effect:

1) AKISAN USA has been invited to be part of a 6-person working group, comprising 3 members from each organization. Meetings will be held via zoom and in person if necessary. Call 404-276-4267 if you are interested in being a member of this working group and for the requirements for being same

2) AKISAN USA members present were inducted into UYOCCIMA as ex-officio members:
