We are thrilled to introduce the newly elected leadership of the Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria, USA Inc. (AKISAN). Dr. Mbong Ekiko, a distinguished Senior Vice President at Lockheed Martin and a second-generation Akwa Ibomite born and raised in the United States, has taken the helm as our 22nd National President.
In alignment with the DREAM TEAM’s vision of Leadership, Vision, and Transformation (LVT), Dr. Ekiko’s election marks a significant step in our ongoing transformation. He brings a fresh perspective and a wealth of experience from his esteemed career in the aerospace industry. His campaign, focused on transparency, collaboration, and youth empowerment, resonated with many, leading him to a decisive victory, winning 17 out of 28 chapter votes.
