The Essien family mourns the passing of Wilfred Kokoette Essien, who returned to his Maker on February 9, 2024.

Native of Mbiaya Uruan, Kokoette was a longtime dedicated member of AKISAN – New York Chapter. He lived a life full of love, faith, and service.

A keen sportsman and accomplished high jumper. He represented Nigeria at a Student Games in Italy whilst a student there.
May his soul rest in perfect peace!
