The scholarships are being awarded to 2 students per Local Government Area (L.G.A.) in Akwa Ibom State (62 students in all), Nigeria and 10 students in the United States of America.
We thank all the members of the education committee for the diligent work they put in to determine the winners – Dr. Victoria Udongwo (Chairlady), Prof. (Dr.) MacDonald Ammazi Akpan, Prof. Nicholas Umontuen, Prof. Enefiok Ekpe, Dr. Jerry Essienumoh, Mr. Michael Etim, and Mr. Uduak “Cavil” Inwang
Based on success of last year’s “100-Student Scholarship Challenge” where we asked members to donate additional monies to donate to even more students, we are instituting another 100-Student Challenge where participants sponsor a student from their local government area (not their village). 36 sponsors have signed up so far. Thanks you! This challenge is open to beneficiaries in both the United States and Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
To participate in the The 100-Student Scholarship Challenge for 2024, call the National President at 404-276-4267 for details. We thank everyone for participating in this challenge. Every school age child deserves a university education.
