AKISAN USA Announces her 2023 Scholarship Application Program

AKISAN USA is pleased to announce her 2023 scholarship application program. This year, we are:

• We are awarding scholarships to students of Akwa Ibom State origin both in the United States of America and Nigeria
• For students in Nigeria:
• The scholarship is open to all students of Akwa Ibom State origin, studying in public institutions of higher learning (Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, etc.)
• We are expanding our scholarship this year to cover 2 students per Local Government Area and are also offering weighted categories based on GPA
•

Dates to keep in mind are as follows:

• Deadline to submit your application: May 31, 2023
• Submitted applications to be reviewed from June 1, 2023 to July 31st, 2023
• Awardees to be announced: At the 2023 National Convention in Sunny San Diego on Saturday, August 12, 2023
• Essay Topic: Why is education extremely important in an Akwa Ibom household? Essay needs to be written in Times New Roman font, single spaced and in 12 point font
