AKISAN USA Welcomes Members and Supporters to the 2025 National Convention in Washington, D.C.

As the 2025 AKISAN National Convention kicks off in Washington, D.C., we extend our heartfelt gratitude and warm wishes to every member, friend, and supporter traveling from across the United States, Akwa Ibom, and other parts of the world to be part of this historic gathering.

We deeply appreciate the unwavering support of the Board of Trustees, National Executive Council, the energetic AKISAN Youth Wing, the dedicated Women’s Wing, and our incredible Host Chapters, AKISAN Washington, D.C., and AKISAN Maryland. Your commitment and unity have helped shape this convention into what promises to be a truly unforgettable celebration of culture, connection, and community.

Special appreciation goes to the Convention Planning Committee for their tireless efforts, vision, and coordination. We also thank our generous donors, committee members, volunteers, and every individual who contributed their time, talent, and resources to bring this dream to life.

We are especially grateful to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, for his continued support and for sending a 5-man delegation comprising of Mrs. Helen Obareki (Coordinator, Office of the First Lady) and Hon. Aniekan Umanah (Commissioner for Information), reinforcing the bond between the homeland and the diaspora.

As we come together this week, let us be reminded that our strength lies in our unity. No matter where we live or what role we play, we are bound by a shared heritage, pride, and purpose as sons and daughters of Akwa Ibom. This convention is more than a gathering, it is a symbol of our collective spirit and commitment to one another and to the future of our community.

On behalf of the entire AKISAN USA executive, we welcome you to the 2025 AKISAN National Convention. Let’s make it impactful, memorable, and filled with joy.

Signed,
Uduak Inwang
National Public Relations Officer (PRO)
